People Training For Dogs’s Nancy Strouss

A Passion for People and Dogs for 30+ Years

Nancy Strouss, owner and training director of People Training For Dogs(sm), has been a full time professional dog trainer/instructor for over 30 years. But Nancy didn’t always spend her days among wagging tails and eager to learn dog owners. Before “dogs”, Nancy earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and worked with nursery school age and special needs children. A career change landed her on Wall Street where she worked as a stock trader for a prominent investment-banking firm. But having grown up in rural Pennsylvania with lots of dogs, cats and horses, she was inspired to seek a third career in dog training. Charlee and me III

New twists & turns in my personal journey…In the Spring of 2015, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Although this has modified my life, I am still able to work full time and continue my passion of helping people train their dogs.

“Dogs are the magicians of the universe. By their presence alone, they transform grumpy people into grinning people, sad people into less sad people; they engender relationship.”
