Pets and CBD

What Dog Health Problems Can CBD Oil Treat? While there’s no definitive scientific data on using CBD to treat dogs, there’s anecdotal evidence from dog owners suggesting it can treat pain, especially neuropathic pain, as well as helping to control seizures as per many veterinarian blogs.

CBD has only been approved by the Food and Drug Administration as a therapy for two types of treatment-resistant epilepsy in children, but a growing body of research suggests it can treat anxiety as well. Perhaps it could even treat anxiety in a dog. Is noted that unlike CBD,
THC is actually quite bad for pets and there are many products like the unflavored cbd animal tincture which help to avoid the THC.

To be considered CBD, the oil must contain less than 0.3 percent of tetrahydrocannabidol (THC). Therefore, CBD, does not cause any psychoactive reaction. The fact that CBD can have beneficial effects without these psychoactive side-effects makes it appealing to cat owners when it comes to administering to their pets.
